Contrast is also used in the ad. The background or “home” in the ad is clean, calm, and soothing since cool colors are used throughout. However, the home phone is covered in enlarged, dark germs. The germs stand out because of their dark color and unorganized pattern. The alignment of the text is important in this particular ad. The fact of germs and possible contraction at the top shows its importance and really grabs the viewer’s attention. Lastly, repetition is used in the ad. The font and font color used throughout the ad is all the same, making it repetition.
